🚚 Shipping Policy

At Potted & Co., we're committed to getting your new plants and plant-loving goodies to you safely, efficiently, and with a whole lot of care. This policy outlines how we pack, dispatch, and deliver orders Australia-wide. Nothing in this policy affects your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. 📍 Where We Ship

We currently ship non plant items, Australia-wide, including metro, regional, and remote locations.

Due to strict biosecurity regulations, we do not ship live plants to WA, NT, or TAS. All other products (pots, tools, accessories, etc.) can still be shipped to these states.

🚛 Delivery Timeframes

We primarily ship using Australia Post, with tracking included for every parcel. Estimated delivery windows:

Standard Shipping

Allow: 5–10 business days

Express Shipping

Allow: 2-5 business days

Please note: delivery times are estimates provided by Australia Post and may vary due to weather, peak volumes, or carrier delays.

Couriers

For oversized, heavy, or fragile items, we may occasionally use a courier instead of Australia Post. Tracking will still be provided.

🕒 Processing Times

All orders are packed with care from our Australian location(s).

Standard processing time is 1–3 business days, for non plant related items.

To give your plants the best possible journey, any live plant orders placed after 12pm Monday will ship the following week, so they spend the least amount of time in transit. Live plants are carefully packed and typically dispatched on Wednesdays and Thursdays to avoid weekend delays.

Orders placed on weekends or public holidays are processed the following business day.

During peak periods (public holidays, Christmas, storewide sales), processing times may be longer.

🌿 Shipping Live Plants

To give your leafy legends the safest trip possible: We aim to ship plant orders on Wednesdays and Thursdays to avoid weekend delays, with adjustments made during weeks that include public holidays. We may pause plant shipping during extreme heat or cold to protect plant health. If this happens, we'll notify you. Please unpack your plant promptly upon arrival and give it a little post-travel TLC.

🌴 Pre-Orders

When you purchase a pre-order item: Pre-orders are paid in full at checkout. Orders containing pre-order items will be shipped together once all items are ready. If you prefer items shipped separately, please place separate orders.

📦 Combined & Multiple Shipments

We do our best to send orders in a single parcel. However, depending on product type, weight, or fulfilment location: Your order may arrive in multiple parcels. Each parcel will have its own tracking link. We'll always keep you updated throughout the process.

💸 Shipping Costs

Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on weight, size, and destination. Certain oversized, heavy, or delicate items may incur additional charges — these will be clearly displayed before completing your order. Optional Australia Post Extra Cover may be available at checkout for customers who wish to insure their parcel.

📍 Delivery Issues

If your parcel is delayed or not moving, track your parcel using the link provided at dispatch. If it appears stuck or delayed, contact us, and we'll assist with an AusPost investigation. If your parcel is marked “delivered” but hasn’t arrived, get in touch with us as soon as possible. We will investigate the issue and may replace or refund on a case-by-case basis, considering tracking data and Australia Post’s findings. If your order arrives damaged, contact us within 24 hours with photos. If your pots or other accessories, plant care, etc, contact us within 2–3 business days with photos. We'll assess the issue and organise a replacement, store credit, or refund in line with our Refunds & Returns Policy.
